Stimulus Package Notification

We received our notification yesterday about the stimulus package (how much did it cost for them to send that to everyone?), and it looks like we’ll be receiving a reasonable chunk of money. Here’s my problem with the whole thing though…

Where is this money coming from? I mean, when you are running a deficit in your budget around your house and your transmission goes out on your car, where do you get the money to pay for it? You probably have to borrow it somewhere. Without getting political here, my problem is that there’s no fiscal responsibility going on in the first place. Fiscal responsibility would meanliving ona budget, reducing debt, and managing money responsibly, just like we should all be doing at home.

Don’t get me wrong, I’m still going to cash the check.
