HSA Shopping

I left my steady job last week for what are hopefully the greener grasses of working for myself from home. One big hurdle in leaving is, of course, health insurance. Right now I’m spending a lot of time checking out HSA options for our family. We are lucky enough to be in a position to take on some risk with a higher deductible, which means we would qualify, and our out of pocket expenses would be tax free. Couple that with the fact that we lead healthy lifestyles and won’t be throwing away money on premiums every month, and it makes a lot of sense. I’ll post more as I learn and decide.
