Dave Ramsey on New Fox Business Network
Sunday, 23 September 2007
Dave Ramsey announced on his radio show this week that he’ll be taking it to television on October 15. The show will air on Fox’s new Business Network.
I really hope this works out well. I think Dave gives incredible advice to people to help them understand and manage their finances. I’ve been listening to him since I was a teenager, and can think of several hundred thou$and ways his advice has helped me financially.
I think he may have to change the format of his show a little from the radio version, just because it would be boring on television if he does nothing but answer phone calls. I can see him having guests, and I think that would be a good idea and very entertaining as long as he can resist the urge to go O’Reilly on them, talking over them and telling them how dumb they are.
My only complaint with Dave, and it’s minor, is that I’ve heard him tell people to “shut up” on several occasions. I’m a Tennessee boy, and I know Dave is a Tennessee boy as well. We were brought up better than to tell people to “shut up.”
